Spencer, Jordan, and Asher are living at J.J.'s beach house. J.P. gives Layla her mother's masters as a graduation gift. Spencer is being courted by a gym owner wanting his endorsement who can only pay him with a gym membership. Patience suggests to Coop that they move in together to save money and Coop agrees. Angry Hippo energy drink also wants him to recommend them exclusively for $10,000. Jamie has disappeared after her blowup with Asher. Olivia and Clay encourage Layla to put together an album of her mother's music. Layla denies to Olivia that she and Clay are an item. The boys tease Jordan after catching him and Simone sexting. Coop and Patience put down a deposit on an apartment. Spencer worries that they're getting soft chilling on the beach. Coop and Patience discover they're sharing the apartment with another couple. G.W. walks in on Billy and Laura kissing. Layla gets mad at Clay for remixing one of her mother's songs. J.P. likes Clay's remix and asks Layla to consider why she's so upset. Olivia agrees to take on the landlord for Coop and Patience. Laura sends the arguing Billy and G.W. to their rooms. The boys go to a party at the Angry Hippo yacht. Asher and Layla debate what makes them happy. Spencer meets a former athlete who could be his future if he's not careful. The party moves to J.J.'s beach house. Laura lays some hard truth on G.W. Olivia pretends to interview the landlord for a human-interest piece then tells him that she's going to expose his unethical activities. Olivia gets them out of their lease. Layla and Clay kiss. Olivia lets Coop and Patience move in. G.W. moves to Florida for a while. Spencer goes back to endorsing the gym and starts training.
