Layla and Olivia can't settle on what they will be doing next year. The two principals lean on Spencer to tell who was really behind the trophy theft but he refuses and faces expulsion. Jordan urges Billy to take care of G.W. Grace leaves Corey's graduation outfit for Spencer. Jamie and Jacob push Asher to consider college coaching. Billy and G.W. get into an argument again. Preach and Coop decide to wait out Amina's curiosity. Spencer and Billy discuss parental mortality. Olivia discusses college with Simone's aunt Amara. She tries to steer Olivia away from journalism. Asher's pride causes him to lash out at Jamie. Clay tries to get Layla to understand that she's already a great producer. Spencer urges his friends to celebrate graduation because their futures are just as important as his. Laura tells G.W. that she loves him and so does Billy. Grace goes to the school to support Spencer at his disciplinary hearing. All of Spencer's supporters from both South Crenshaw and Beverly crash his hearing to confess to the crime, hamstringing the proceedings. All of them would have to be expelled. Principal Carter tells the James family that no one is going to be expelled. But Spencer can't walk at graduation. Carter stood up for him and resigned. Asher accepts Jacob's help. Clay surprise Layla with musician Sabine, who wants to work with her. She also inspires Layla with a topic for her valedictory speech. G.W. and Billy made peace. Coop lies and tells Amina that she shot Mo, to protect Amina's relationship with Preach. Amina storms off. Olivia informs Amara she's sticking with journalism.
