Ubbe, Sigurd, and Ivar discuss what they should do regarding avenging their father's death. Sigurd says they need to raise a giant army to take down Ecbert. 

Ubbe asks Lagertha to come with them when they avenge Ragnar. 

Ivar questions why Sigurd didn't back him when he challenged Lagertha. Sigurd tells him he's not angry at her because they had very different relationships with their mother. 

Rollo offers all the Vikings the opportunity to live in his kingdom and have farm land. No one accepts his offer and Rollo goes home to his family. His wife is very angry with him.

Ubbe tells Margrethe that she is no longer a slave. She asks him why, and he says because she has to be free in order to marry one of them.

Ecbert teaches Alfred about being a king. He tells him not to let himself be influenced by others. 

Reinforcements arrive to help create the great army to avenge Ragnar. 

Ubbe and Ivar prepare to kill Lagertha, but Bjorn arrives home at the exact right moment to stop it. 

Bjorn tells his brothers that they will avenge their father. 

Ivar asks Floki for help so he won't have to crawl on the battlefield. He gives him a horse drawn carriage. 

Bjorn makes out with Astrid.
