Chloe investigates the murder of Judy Mason, a commander of the Red 2 Mars Project.

Ella jumps on FauxLucifer for ghosting her, but the anger is short-lived after he apologizes.

FauxLucifer lied to Ella and is uncharacteristically kind to Dan.

Chloe tells Linda Lucifer is back, but acting differently. She notes he lies now, and Linda found that strange, too.

FauxLucifer is attacked by Maze, but he admits he’s Lucifer’s twin, Michael. 

Michael was jealous of the praise Lucifer was getting for "doing the right thing" in returning to hell, so decided to come play with his toys to force Lucifer to show his “true colors.”

Chloe finds “Lucifer” and Maze in bed. He tells her it meant nothing to him.

Chloe tells Michael to use his “mojo” on a suspect. Instead of desires, he asks about fear. 

Amenadiel won’t let Charlie out of his sight, worried about demons returning. Linda says Lucifer lies now. She later confronts "Lucifer," but he states hell is looked after, and might stay that way.

Maze apologizes to Chloe. Chloe forgives her and tells Maze she plans to take her relationship with Lucifer to the next level.

Chloe tells Michael she likes this new Lucifer.

Chloe and Michael solve the murder, with a confession from Mandy, an employee of the Mars project.

Maze says Chloe's a good person and doesn’t deserve what Michael's doing. He agrees and tells her he’s instead decided to take Lucifer’s life.

Chloe tells “Lucifer” she meant it when she told him she loved him, but then shoots Michael to prove he’s not Lucifer. He admits who he is and reveals Chloe's a gift from God for Lucifer.

Amenadiel finds Michael and tells him he will never better Lucifer.

Amenadiel goes to hell and tells Lucifer to return to LA.
