Hope showed up to Professor Vardemus' class for information on how to destroy the artifact. He trapped her once he realized her humanity was off. Professor Vardemus enlisted a student, Jen, to help him free Lizzie from the artifact. When they freed her, she fed on Professor Vardemus and told Hope she was going to kill her using her secret stash of red oak stakes. Lizzie was disappointed to discover she couldn't kill Hope because she's sire-bonded to her. Jen stole the artifact. Cleo, MG, and Jed discussed what to do with Ben. Meanwhile, Landon, Ted, and Alaric worked on solving a riddle, butting heads at first, Landon acting as the mediator. They were led to the clock tower, where they located a Jinni.
