Coach Montes wants Asher to do a full scouting report on Spencer and the GAU offense. Billy tells Jordan he's being too sensitive about people, including Spencer, praising Wade. Patience gets flowers from Sabine. Spencer and Olivia go on a picnic. Asher is putting pressure on himself about the scouting report. Coop and Skye go on their first date. The picnic is a bust because of lifestyle changes Spencer and Olivia have made that the other wasn't aware of. Jordan and Layla plan a trip to San Diego so she can finally see Carrie. Olivia invites Spencer to a work gathering she is hosting. Asher runs his scouting report by Billy, who tells him to dig deeper to find the weak spots of the opposition. At Layla's urging, she and Jordan play in a pickup football game. Spencer feels left out at Olivia's work event. Skye walks out when Coop can't stop talking about Patience. Spencer realizes how little he knows about Olivia now. He fears they're drifting apart. Spencer reads Asher's scouting report about him and they get into it over the personal things Asher put in it. Olivia asks Billy how he and Laura balanced their careers when they were younger. He tells her that they just have to keep trying to course-correct. Carrie informs Layla that her friendship is the reason she's still alive. Coop and Patience agree to ground rules for friendship over funnel cake. Billy tells Spencer that everything he does now is going to be under a microscope. Spencer informs Asher that there has to be separation between GAU and Coastal California in their home until after the homecoming game. Skye gives Coop a second chance. Layla thanks Jordan for being persistent. Olivia and Spencer agree to work harder on their relationship.
