Layla's dad is back in town with his new girlfriend. He's promoting her new album.

Jordan and Asher clash on the field but manage to pull out a win thanks to a play call by Spencer. 

Spencer is upset when Coop cancels plans with him. He wants to get her out from under Shawn.

Layla finds an engagement ring in her dad's bag and takes it. She asks Spencer to read Chynna in case she's using her dad. 

Coop is harassed at the shop. Shawn arrives to back her up, but Coop wants him to move his money out of the shop.

Layla's dad asks Spencer to help him get Chynna to sing at the block party in Crenshaw. He agrees but wants Coop to be the MC.

Shawn has a daughter and she's the reason he keeps his money at Alvin's. It's neutral. 

Billy takes Asher and Jordan to Malibu to scout the competition and get them to work together.

Coop brings Shawn to the block party and it causes an argument with Spencer. 

Jordan punches Asher over sleeping with Olivia. Billy breaks them up.

Shawn decides to get the money out of Alvin's, but the other gang members are there to steal it from him. Shots are fired and heard from the block party. The other gang leader is killed.

Spencer tells Coop she can't keep living at his house and putting his family in danger by supporting Shawn. 

Asher tells Jordan about his money issues and says he didn't take advantage of Olivia. They make up. 

Layla's dad tells her the ring wasn't for Chynna. It was an anniversary upgrade he bought for her mother that he thought she might like to have. 

Layla kisses Spencer and they start making out. Olivia sees them and is very upset.
