The Originals returns to the air Wednesday night after a mini-hiatus, and a new clip from The CW might have resolved one of the big cliffhangers from The Originals Season 5 Episode 9

The Originals Season 5 Episode 10 looks set to pick up in the immediate aftermath of Ivy and the other witches being poisoned by Emmett and his band of villains.

Vincent has all the bodies of rounded up, but then something crazy happens. They start waking up, and Ivy starts to wonder what the heck is going on.

Somethin Isn't Right - The Originals Season 5 Episode 4

"Vincent?" says a shocked Ivy.

"I'm here," says the man who did not manage to return to save her in time. After some back and forth, Ivy utters the following: "I thought I was dead."

That's when Vincent confirms that she is actually dead. On supernatural shows, death is never really the end, and that's why we may be led to believe that there's something going on in New Orleans to allows ghosts to hang around.

Being a witch before she died, there's no telling what her ancestors could have done to allow her to mingle with the living, but we're sure we will get more clarity when we watch the episode.

The rest of the episode looks set to follow Hope as she struggles to keep her rage in check following the death of her mother.
