Riverdale Season 3 Promo: Fights, New Romances, and A Deadly Mystery!

Summer is almost over for us, but we've got something to look forward to: Riverdale Season 3 is almost here!

The gang is back with an all-new promo teasing the drama that's to come in October. After the craziness of the town riots and the killings from The Black Hood, the tension is picking up right where things left off. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

What's made clear in the trailer is that our favorite characters are going to keep living their lives happily. But, a new mystery will be back to mess everything up.

Based on the promo, we see a few quick clips of Polly's twin babies being held up over a burning fire. The scene looks very ritualistic and spooky.

As revealed by the San Diego Comic-Con trailer, the upcoming mystery will focus on Polly, her babies, and the mysterious people from the farm. On Riverdale Season 2 Episode 22, she told Alice that the farmers could visit Riverdale to help her during her grieving process after Hal was revealed as The Black Hood. Well, it looks like they came after all.

What makes the mystery even spookier is the end clip.

Someone (Jughead?) is yelling out into the night begging for help. The fight is out, but a body is on the ground.

Did someone get murdered? Could it be someone we know?

Breaking up the drama is love. Romance is EVERYWHERE in the promo.

The core four of Betty, Jughead, Archie, and Veronica are basking in their summer season of romance. (We can assume that Archie got out on bail since he's not in jail for most scenes.) But, it's the new couples that popped up that caught our eye.

Kevin and Moose share a quick passionate kiss in the halls. Plus, Alice Cooper and FP Jones look quite cozy in bed together.

Shippers, rejoice! Your dreams have come true; they're finally together.
