Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie is played by Henry Simmons. In the comics, Mack is a former CIA liasion to S.H.I.E.L.D. With his towering size, it's easy to understand why he's great at hand-to-hand combat. Mack specializes in high-tech explosives.

Imaginary-Simmons seems to be the positive reinforcement Fitz needs. Notice how she provides the words he can't remember. Is the trick to his recovery uniting these two halves of his psyche?

Last season Fitz was pretty jealous of Agent Triplett's innocent flirtation with Simmons. Is Mack now on the receiving end of that jealousy?

It's possible Fitz's jealousy will make him suspicious of Mack. Will he be able to fully trust the new guy?
