- Carmen has a romp with a guy in her room.
- Flashback to 1987 when Lettie is cooking breakfast while Billy and Joe get ready to work the vineyard.
- Lettie in the present looks for Joe but he's up and out early burning photos and thngs from is past.
- Veronica goes to visit Delgado and the sheriff is there and tells her that woever did it will get carged with murder
- Joe asks if Lettie kept anything from before, and she told him that she didn't. She lies.
- Mateo wants to purchase the vineyard near Joe, but Bob, the owner, tipped Joe off and Joe wants to buy it insitead. He offers to give Mateo some rows to manage back at the vineyard.
- Young Billy asks Joe when he'll ask Lettie out, and Joe wants to wait becuase they haven't heard any news from Lettie's sister. ROsa.
- The owner of the vineyard appears and tells his daughter Margaret to oversee things. Billy tries to be friendly with Margaret, but she's all professional and cold.
- Margaret overhears Lettie teaching the workers English, and she says that she wants to learn Spanish so she can speak to the workers becase she'll be running things one day. She wants Lettie to teach her.
- Lettie agrees and negotiates her pay at ten an hour.
- Antonio tells Margaret that Veronica didni't show up at a meeting which is odd. He encourages her to reach out to Veronica, but Margaret hasn't been able to get in touch with her since Joe forced her out the company He tells her about how rattled Joe was when he heard the name Carlos, and she wants to find out who it is
- Joe tells Veronica to stay away from Cruz Delgado to distance them from his serving fake papers.
- Lettle stops by the church again to see Billy.She doesn't knkow why he's there and he teells her he had to leave because it was best for them.
- While there another priest asks her if Junior is okay. Junior called himself in sick and is playng hooky
- Young Lettie stops by themain house to teach Margaret and a maid, Margaret looks down on her and treats her poorly.
- Margaret shares that she wants to be a winemaker and runs things but her fater doesn't thnk that women can do it.
- Carmen sees VSeronica in the garage and the car. She figures out that Veronica hit Cruz. Veronica admits she doesn't know what to do.
- Carmen offeres to help her wth everything
- Lettie comes back Mateo's place with Joe and wants for them to work something out and Mateo to come back to the vineyard. Mateo tries to threaten Joe, but Joe reminds him that if he blows up his identity, then he''ll hurt Lettie because she's undocumented, too.
- Lettie searches Junior's room and finds drugs. She confronts Junior about them.
- Marta still works there and now Lettie gets to tell her what to do!!
- Antonio spends some time with Mateo. He brings up Carlos and asks who it is but Mateo blows it off and doesn't say
- Billy, Joe, and Lettie show up at the house where Young Margaret invited them. It's a pool party and Margaret lends Lettie a suit while te boys have the cut up their only jeans
- At the bid, Joe outbids Mateo, but Margaret shows up at makes a higher offer. she drives it up just to see him pay more.
- Young Joe is not thrilled about being there and thnks tha Margaret is too privileged and is just using them. He says all this in Spanish and Margaret knows that something is up.
- Carmen helps Veronica get the car fixed going to her dealership where she's chmmy with the person there.
- Lettie tells Joe about Junior and says she refuses to let him drive away another one of her sons
- Young Margaret and the others hang out and get drunk off of the wine. She notices that Joe has a good palate.
- Margaret's father gets there early. The boys hide and Lettie covers by introducing herself as te tutor. He thinks she looks familiar and makes a racist comment to Margaret about her.
- Cruz Delgado wakes up.
- Joe chooses to rent the vineyard to Mateo.
- Delgado wakes up and when he sees Veronica, he tells her that he knows it was her.
- Antonio finds the old truck with blood in it. He also finds the drum from burnt photos.
- Lettie takes Junior to Billy for help.
- Young Joe calls Billy out for his crush on Lettie wen he knows tat he's interested. Billy calls im out on how e was looking at Margaret.
- A phone call comes through at the vineyard for Juana, but young Lettie is too anxious about responding when she sees the Honeycrofts there. When she finallymakes a go for the phone, it's too late. She misses her sister who is being held somewhere and was calling for help.
