Brennan, nicknamed "Bones" for how often she works with skeletons, is a forensic anthropologist at the Jeffersonian Institution in Washington D. C.
She's also a best-selling novelist and relies on advice from her best friend and fellow co-worker, forensic artist Angela Montenegro.
