Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) is the pretty and friendly receptionist at the Scranton branch of paper company Dunder Mifflin. A little shy but always kind, and certainly good-looking but reserved, she is the quintessential girl next door and the love interest for co-worker Jim Halpert throughout the four seasons of the show.

At the beginning of The Office, Pam had been dating Dunder Mifflin warehouse worker Roy Anderson since high school and engaged to him for three years.

At long last, she and Jim have gotten together, and it looks like it's for good!

Pam Beesly Quotes

Michael: Did we get a fax this morning?
Pam: Uh, yeah. The one.
Michael: Why isn't it in my hand? Because the company runs on efficiency of communication, right? So what's the problem, Pam? Why didn't, uh, why didn't I get it?
Pam: You put it in the garbage can that was the special filing cabinet.

Michael: Ah, This is our receptionist, Pam. PAM! PAM PAM! Pam Beesly. Uh, Pam has been with us, um, for forever... Right, Pam?
Pam: Well, I don't know...
Michael: If you think she's cute now, you should have seen her a couple of years ago! [growls]
Pam: What?
Michael: Uh, any messages?
