It looks like viewers were not ready for Love Island.
The U.S. version of the hit international series launched on CBS with just 2.7 million viewers and a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49.
This is down considerably from what Big Brother pulled in the same slot last week (4.5 million/1.1).
Given that the series will be airing five nights for four weeks, this is a terrible start.
The diminished lead-in support dragged Blood and Treasure down to 2.7 million total viewers and a 0.3 rating.
Thankfully, the series is already renewed.
Over on NBC, America's Got Talent secured 9.6 million total viewers and a 1.4 rating.
The premiere of Bring the Funny was also strong with 6.2 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating.
Over on The CW, The 100 was steady with 0.7 million viewers and a 0.2 rating.
