Breaking Bad Boss: Walter White Could Appear on Better Call Saul!

Breaking Bad has been off the air for almost five years, but Better Call Saul is still going strong.

As such, there have been questions ever since the latter's inception surrounding whether some more of the leads from the parent series could appear in the spinoff.

Thankfully, there was a glimmer of hope given to fans Thursday night at San-Diego Comic Con.

Creator Vince Gilligan, and stars Bryan Cranston, and Aaron Paul were among the guests at a panel for Breaking Bad's 10th anniversary in Hall H.

Even after all these years off the air, the show is still a big deal, and that's why it was given the 6,500 seat venue in San Diego.

Gilligan did not beat around the bush in his statement about potential crossovers but stated that neither Cranston or Pinkman will appear on Better Call Saul Season 4.

"We don't want to jerk folks around," Gilligan said.

"But we would be sorely remiss if these characters didn't appear in the show before it ended."

The beauty of Better Call Saul is that it is a prequel, meaning it is set before the events of the Breaking Bad series finale.

It opens a world of possibilities regarding storytelling, but it might be a tough sell for fans of Breaking Bad.

That show is one of the finest shows on television, and it could feel forced to have two of the most popular actors appear on the spinoff.

Unless it benefits the story, it would be difficult to get on board with it.

As for a revival of Breaking Bad, well, it does not sound like it will become a reality.

"We’re very proud of our show and Better Call Saul. In some ways, it’s best to leave it alone – that you want to think back on it favorably,” Cranston said.

“I don’t want to mess with it. It was the perfect opportunity that changed all of our lives. It changed many lives on our show.”

But that did not stop a fan asking about whether a movie could be heading to the big screen.

“Anything’s possible,” Gilligan replied. “We live in a world fraught with possibilities -- good and bad.” But Cranston offered a stern, “No.”
