TV Ratings Report: 60 Minutes Surges to Season Highs

It was a highly controversial episode of 60 Minutes (21.3 million/4.0 rating) on CBS last night, and the ratings swelled to the biggest numbers of the season for the news show.
Elsewhere on CBS, Instinct (10.6 million/1.4 rating), NCIS: Los Angeles (8.6 million/1.0 rating) and Madam Secretary (6.5 million/0.7 rating) were all up marginally vs. last week.
ABC: American Idol (7.4 million/1.7 rating) and Deception (4 million/0.8 rating) were right on par with their week ago results.
Fox: The Simpsons (2.1 million/1.0 rating) inched up while Family Guy (1.9 million/0.9 rating) went the other way.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.9 million/0.9 rating), Bob's Burgers (1.7 million/0.8 rating) and The Last Man on Earth (1.6 million/0.7 rating) were all steady,
NBC: Little Big Shots (5.9 million/0.9 rating), Genius Junior (4.2 million/0.7 rating) and Timeless (2.6 million/0.6 rating) were all down.
