Alaric Saltzman won't just be back on The Vampire Diaries Season 6.
He'll be getting back to basics... as a teacher.
Or a professor, to be exact, as this returning (beloved!) character will get a job at Whitmore College, where two of his students will be Liv (who knows Alaric's secret) and Tyler (who isn't exactly punctual for class).
We've uncovered the first clip from The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1, "I'll Remember" and we've posted it for fans here:
The Vampire Diaries will pick up on October 2, four months after the presumed deaths of Damon and Bonnie.
Everyone will be dealing with the tragedy in their own way, according to the official network synopsis:
- Stefan will be off on his own.
- Elena will be taking some crazy witchy drugs in order to hallucinate her ex-boyfriend.
- Caroline will be confiding in Alaric.
- Jeremy will be drinking.
- And Mystic Falls will remain a magic-free town.
Feels like a pretty big reboot, doesn't it? Expect to see Damon and Bonnie early on, but don't expect to really know their deal or their status for a few weeks.
