Once Upon a Time has cast another famous fairy tale character.

TV Line confirms that Alexandra Metz - who appeared briefly this season on The Originals as a witch named Katie - will take on this hairy role on the 14th installment of Season 3.

It's unclear what brings Rapunzel into the fold, but she may stick around for multiple Sundays.

Metz has also enjoyed stints on Gossip Girl, Chicago Fire and The Good Wife.

Once Upon a Time Season 3, meanwhile, airs its fall finale on December 15 and won't pick up again until March 9.
