Tom Berenger has landed a major role on Major Crimes.
The veteran actor will come on board Season 2 of the TNT drama as Jackson Raydor, the estranged spouse of Mary McDonnell's Captain.
According to William Keck of TV Guide Magazine, the character will recur and will be a charismatic lawyer… with a gambling problem.
Look for Jackson to appear on three episodes, to accept a job as a court-appointed attorney and, of course, to clash with Sharon. Big time.
Berenger recently won an Emmy for his role in the high-rated History miniseries Hatfields & McCoys (pictured).
Major Crimes Season 2, meanwhile, kicks off on TNT in June.
