Four new episodes of The Vampire Diaries remain on season three.

And, following "The Murder of One" - a disappointing installment that once again changed the focus of various characters, along with the show's overriding - it's anyone's guess what will actually go down on the home stretch.

But this much we do know: TVD will mark its April 19 return with a pair of character returns: Elena and Damon will visit Jeremy in Colorado, and Tyler will (finally!) show back up in Mystic Falls.
