TV Staff Selection, Take Five: Sam & Dean for Most Dynamic Duo!

at .

Who is television's Most Dynamic Duo? That's what we're asking readers to decide, and that's also the case taken up by various members of the TV Fanatic staff. So far, articles have been written that made the argument for...

Now, Carissa Pavlica is here to defend who has to be considered the sexiest brothers on television: Sam and Dean Winchester on Supernatural. Take it away, Carissa...

Sam, Dean, Tattoos

Their job? Save the world. From the likes of Death, Lucifer, and pretty much any creature that you've ever imagined. They do it with style and panache. A few whiny moments here and there but, hey, wouldn't you like to have a beer sometimes instead of hunting down demons?

Let's face it, you are going to have a very difficult time replacing any of the bread on my weekly Winchester sandwich. When hungry for a triple, you just add Daddy John and there is more testosterone than you can handle. These boys ooze sex, and yet they rarely have it, saving it all for the minds of their viewers. Nicely done.

The brothers are as funny as Hell, which they have both inhabited at least once. Although they have suffered miserably, they always have each other's backs. Like any siblings, they fight and get cantankerous and half the time you expect them to stomp their feet in a tantrum - but when one or the other is in trouble, they know who has their back.

Sam escaped Hell and let Dean live a normal life for a year! Knowing his big brother had always been shouldered with the burden of protecting him, he gave Dean the one thing he had never had: A family of his own.

They're rescued each other over and over and over again, and yet always have time for snark, hotness, more snark and, also, singing. Never forget the singing. Check out this clip as Dean wonders, yet again, how much longer he has to live; but decides singing Bon Jovi with his little bro will break the fear factor:

I'll leave you with some of their awesome words from our Dynamic Duo. Note: they were talking about fairy tales a long time before Once Upon a Time or Grimm graced your screens, and have always kept up on the latest pop culture:

Dean: It's kind of like, Bewitched, you know? Don's Darren and doesn't even know it. Lot of laughs until you cheat on your wife.
Sam: Bewitched reference. Really?
Dean: Dude, Nicole Kidman was in the remake. Red head. Hello!?

Dean: I've decided. I'm going to give Stan my most precious gift.
Sam: Wow. That sounded really creepy coming out of your mouth.

Dean: Until we get you back on your soul train, I'll be your conscience.
Sam: So you're saying you'll be my Jiminy Cricket.
Dean: Shut up. But yeah you fricken puppet, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Sam: What about when there are no more leads for that? I mean are you just supposed to sit there in the dark and suffer, even when there's nothing that can be done at that moment?
Dean: Yes! You sit in the dark and you feel the loss.
Sam: Absolutely, but couldn't I just do all that and have sex with the hippie chick?
Dean: No!

Dean: Try uh, Lautner.
Sam: He's a werewolf. How do you even know who that is?
Dean: What are you kidding me? That kid is everywhere. It's a friggen nightmare.

Sam: Were you racing me?
Dean: No, I was kicking your ass.
Sam: Very mature.

Dean: [wearing a surgical mask] Hey, I look like the King of Pop.
Sam: [Rolls eyes]
Dean: Too soon? Too soon.

Dean: Dude, he's short.
Sam: Hey, Gandhi was a great man.
Dean: For a Smurf.

Supernatural Quotes

Why do they call this place The Empty? It's full. It's full of sorrow and despair playing over and over again of angels and demons dreaming about their regrets. Forever.

Weird, creepy, off-the-grid "Children of the Corn" people? Yeah, I’m in.
