Happy birthday, Ellen Pompeo! The Grey's Anatomy star is 40 today! That's hard to believe for such a youthful-looking actress. She's beautiful at any age, that's for sure!

In the last five years, we've seen her narrate our favorite show for more than 125 episodes, get married to Chris Ivery and give birth to their first child, daughter Stella.

Life's good for the Boston native, and we're happy to be fans of one of the more "real" celebs you'll find. Happy birthday, Ellen! Here's a little photo tribute to the birthday girl...
