One of TV's most popular shows will remain on the air for at least two more seasons.

Following contentious contract negotiations that led many fans to believe Charlie Sheen would truly walk away from Two and a Half Men, the actor and the network have settled on a new deal.

“To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights,” Sheen said in a statement.

Details of the new contract have not yet been released, but reports have stated Sheen may make as much as $1.3 million per episode. That's a lot for an alleged wife beater.

CBS is expected to officially announce Sheen and the show’s return today.
