Considering the important, albeit mysterious, status of Jax Heller on Sons of Anarchy, viewers wanna know more about this character.

In response to a question about him show creator Kurt Sutter told E! News that Jax is working out his identity. He added:

"I really wanted a leading man who was a mann but hadn't really decided what kind of man he was going to be yet," Sutter said, continuing with a pair of comparisons to iconic characters/shows: "He was more of a Shane than a Vic [speaking in The Shield terms], more of a Christopher than a Tony [speaking in The Sopranos terms].

The arc we'll explore (if we get to continue) is seeing what kind of man Jax Teller becomes, and the struggle, rather than Vic who clearly decided what kind of man he is and navigates through life with that decision, as did Tony Soprano."
