Jason Mesnick's loss was Dancing with the Stars' gain.
The show, starring scored Bachelor contestant Melissa Rycroft, premiered to its largest debut audience ever last night: 22.5 million people tuned in.
The Rycroft effect: Pitted against DWTS, The Big Bang Theory (9.5 million viewers) and How I Met Your Mother (8.5 million) were solid, but down from last week. Chuck (5.7 million) didn't stand a chance. Only House (12.1 million) improved on its season average.
Heroes update: We know it's coming back for a fourth season... but is NBC sure? Last night marked the show's least-watched episode ever (6.6 million).
Fillion Takes Flight: Nathan Fillion's premiering Castle (11.6 million) didn't get wiped out by CSI: Miami (14.1 million). It's off to a good start.
