Four years later, Stack would replace this actor on the series. Recalling the strange circumstance, Stack told Soap Opera Digest:
"I was nervous, but I was really comfortable. And then I bolted out and went out with my mom, who was in town by chance, to see Rock 'n' Roll, the Tom Stoppard play. So, I could just go and think about something else."
Here are a few other facts about the actor:
- Stack co-founded a New York theater company called The CRY HAVOC Company in 1997.
- When he's not acting, Stack can be found playing drums with his group, Sensi-tip and the Suggestions.
- Stack appeared as a drummer in the first band of Jack Black's character in School of Rock.
